A personal invitation to adapt
I’m raising money for [organization] because [personal reason]. The campaign will help [specific purpose]. My goal is [amount] by [date]. Would you consider giving through my page? [link]
Ask fundraisers to use their own words and explain why the cause matters to them.
Report more than the total raised
Track active fundraisers, distinct donors, completed gifts, refunds and costs. Keep pending payments and pledges separate from completed gifts. Reconcile net proceeds with finance before reporting the result.
Choose a date for the outcome update and name the person responsible for sending it. Record what you would change for the next campaign.
