Leader Permissions
Leader Permissions determine which tools a trip leader can see and use inside the Leader Console.
In the current Trips platform, these permissions are enforced in the leader-facing trip experience. When a permission is turned off, the related tab, action, or approval workflow is hidden or blocked for that leader.

How permissions behave
Leader permissions are resolved per leader. The current Trips code supports:
trip-level leader permission defaults
optional per-leader overrides
In practice, this means two leaders on the same trip can have different access if your account uses overrides.
Default behavior
If a leader permission is not explicitly changed, the current Trips defaults are:
all leader permissions are enabled
Promote Leaders is disabled by default
Examples
Here are a few important permission effects in the current UI:
If Invite Participants is off, the leader cannot use Invite all or send row-level participant invitations.
If View Task Completions is off, the leader cannot use the Completions tab.
If Approve Task Completions is off, the leader can review completions but cannot approve or reject them.
If Promote Leaders is off, the leader cannot change another participant's role to Leader.
